portassist is an interactive AI kiosk platform, real-time multilingual avatars that let enterprise venues replace menu-driven touch-screens with voice-first conversation. The same kiosk answers a passenger in Arabic and a transit traveler in Mandarin, in under one second, without anyone opening a phone or tapping a menu.
What we do
We build the full conversational-kiosk stack: real-time speech-to-text, a tightly scoped retrieval-augmented LLM, lifelike avatar synthesis, and low-latency text-to-speech, delivered as either a managed platform or a fully on-premises installation inside the customer's own network. Enterprises use us when a touchscreen isn't enough: busy terminals, language-diverse visitors, and venues where uptime and data residency matter.
Every AI kiosk on the platform is configurable per venue, knowledge base, avatar, voice, allowed scope. Our Guardrail Mode keeps the agent strictly inside that scope, so hospital kiosks stay non-clinical and airport kiosks stay factual about flight information.
